New Kind of Stripes
This combo of a simple tee, oversized cardigan, my favorite jeans + booties has been my uniform the last few days with this AMAZING 70 degree weather Louisville has been having. Granted, this morning came with some nearly freezing temps which had the universe laughing in my face at the cropped yoga pants, TOMs and Patagonia pullover I walked outside in ... I knew the short burst of warm weather was way too good to be true, but hey, that's Louisville for ya!
Ok, now onto the good stuff. It's definitely no secret around here that striped tees are pretty much my love language, but even I can admit that it's kind of a problem. I mean, who really needs EIGHT (black and white) striped t-shirts ... That's where this v-neck comes into play! Sure, it's not exactly stripes in the traditional sense, but that's why I love it. I can still get my stripes on, but in an unexpected, vertical patterned way.
Overthinking the stripes thing? Probably a little bit, but I'd be lying if I said that it wasn't the whole reason I bought this shirt ... Well, that and the fact that it's crazy comfortable AND it's only $6 right now! Do you have any go-to patterns or styles that you gravitate towards? For me, it's stripes (obviously), and neutrals (+ wine!) all day, everyday.
