Spring Style Floral Dress www.chelceytate.com

Y'all, this week has been a crazy one! Between birthday celebrations and major deadlines for a couple of pretty incredible collaborations, I've been wired with so many thoughts running through my head! If getting out of bed at two in the morning and working for a few hours last night doesn't say how much I have on my plate, I don't know what does ... This girl is going to need a MAJOR vacation once everything I've been working on is launched!

While we're talking about vacations, anyone else really wish that they were heading to a beach sometime soon? I've been watching The Hills for like the twelfth time (#noshame), and it's making me want to book a trip to California, ASAP! Well that, and become best friends with Lauren Conrad. :)

Sean's never been to the west coast, and the one and only time I went was in high school five years ago with my entire senior class. I think it's about time we make the trip seeing as I tease Sean about wanting to move out there every other day! I can tell you one thing for sure, when we do go, I'll definitely have this outfit in tow!

I think what I love most about this look is that it totally reads Spring and Summer, but it isn't your classic neon/pastel color tones that you expect this time of year. I'm just not drawn to that style at all ... This outfit totally lets me bring in some of those colors that are more well known for Fall and Winter that I love, and they're balanced out perfectly by the bright floral print on the dress. It really is such a simple (and super adorable) outfit that I have no doubt I'll be wearing over and over again!

ARE YOU INTO THE PASTEL COLORS TYPICALLY SEEN THIS TIME OF YEAR, OR DO YOU GRAVITATE TOWARDS THE WARMER TONES LIKE I DO?
