Is it just me, or is anyone else's mind totally blown that Christmas is just a few days away? This heat wave thing (yeah, I'm totally talking about this again) is throwing me off, big time. I need some snow in my life, if only just for one single day! There are few things that really compare to a white Christmas, not to mention it would mean that I could get away with a cute outfit like this one vs actually having to "dress up." I will choose a cute pair of jeans and a striped tee over pretty much anything, any day.

Speaking of, this striped top from Madewell is making another appearance because, let's be real here, I wear this thing at least once a week. What can I say? Striped tees are basically my love language. Speaking of love languages, I've recently discovered (way behind the ball on this one) super oversized blanket scarves. I'm totally down with anything that instantly pulls an outfit together, which I think was definitely the case with this one. All I have to say is that scarves like this one are going to be popping up around here even more than my signature floppy hat. Ok, maybe not that serious, but you get the point.

Do you have any pieces that you tend to always grab no matter what else is in your closet? I swear I rotate the same 6 outfits over and over. I'm thinking it might be time to try out a capsule wardrobe since half of the pieces in my closet never see the light of day! If you have any tips on getting started, let me know! Organization is definitely not one of my strengths in life, so if you have any advice for me there, I'll gladly take it, too! The struggle is most definitely real over here, people.
