When we were planning our trip to Telluride, I knew that I immediately had to step up my coat game! We've had a super mild winter in Kentucky this year so anything heavier than some major layers haven't been necessary. I did some hardcore online shopping before we left, and this coat from ASOS was literally calling my name!

If you've been following along here for a while, then you're well aware of the fact that my style has evolved a lot over the years. I went from super preppy to more of an edgy-free-spirit-boho vibe ... Even though my style has totally evolved, I still lean towards some preppier pieces like this trench coat. I tend to shut myself down real quick before I hit the checkout page, but I knew that I could make this coat work! Plus, what's not to love about a classic piece like this? To lessen the preppy vibes, I paired it with all black underneath, combat style booties, and a little bit of an attitude to match. 😉

P.S. Shoutout to my momma for rocking these photos! Sean was out snowboarding by 9am every morning so I had to get creative to make sure that I got all of the photos I needed. 😘
