Keep It Casual

Keep It Casual www.chelceytate.com

Happy Monday, y'all! I never thought there was such a thing until I realized that you really can do whatever you want. It's a beautiful thing when you decide to take control of your own happiness, am I right? I saw a t-shirt from Mulberry Press Co. on Instagram last night that said "I'm just a girl who decided to go for it" and I'm pretty sure I need it in my life, along with everything else that Sarah comes up with!

Ok, back to our regularly scheduled programming which is all about the softest sweater I've ever worn, the same Madewell jeans that I wear every single day of my life (that I'm not in leggings, that is) and the only beanie that I've ever found that actually works. Anyone else struggle with finding a beanie that has just enough slack in the back, and doesn't feel like it's constantly falling off of your head? This one from Evy's Tree is literally what dreams are made of AND it's on sale for $44! My go-to on rough hair days (aside from throwing my hair up in a half knot) has officially been replaced by this baby!

I'm a creature of habit when it comes to most things in my life, and keeping things casual in my wardrobe definitely isn't the exception to this rule. I've been playing with the idea of starting a capsule wardrobe, but let's be real here, am I really going to get rid of my 15 slouchy sweaters and my entire collection of striped tees? There's a quote that I see floating around every once in a while that says something along the lines of you can never be overdressed, but if it requires me wearing something that I can't eat half a pizza in, you can count this girl out! What do you think? Are you a fan of keeping things casual, or do you like the process of getting dressed up?

P.S. Everything aside from the scarf I'm wearing in these photos is ON SALE! After Christmas sales are pretty much the best. The original links are all below, and similar items are pictured at the bottom of this post! Let me know if you end up picking any of these items up, I'd love to see how you end up styling them for yourself!
