This weekend was jam packed full of great food, amazing weather, even better people, and a random trip to Target just to roam the aisles I've walked a hundred times over. We met up with a big group of friends down at Thunder Over Louisville Saturday morning, and treated ourselves to fresh sugar covered doughnuts afterwards ... I mean, what more could I really ask for out of the kick off weekend to Derby season?

I didn't intentionally buy this dress to wear to Derby, but after pulling it out of the box over the weekend, I really think it's perfect! Of course I'll be styling it much differently, so keep a look out for that post next week! I think what I love the most about this dress is that it's so simple to dress up or dress down ... I can easily pull it off for a big event, or I can style it like I did in these photos and bring back down to something I'd easily throw on everyday.

While we're talking about things that can easily be worn everyday, let's talk about this cardigan for a second. I'm totally obsessed! I feel like it instantly adds that extra something to any sundress that I have, and coming from someone who is always freezing in restaurants, I'm all about a super simple cardigan that goes with everything. It instantly transforms anything I wear it with into the perfect boho outfit of my dreams.
