Birthday Wishlist
I don't know how it's already April, but y'all ... I turn 25 in a little over a week from now! I remember talking to my mom on our houseboat trip last summer about my age, and I legit started at 22 and just started counting up. 😂 I think after 21 (or 22, because T-Swift, duh 🙈) it gets pretty easy to lose track of how old you are. At least that's how it was for both me and Sean!
I'm officially entering my mid-20's, and I don't really feel a certain way about it. I'm so content with where my life is in this season being a wife, mama, and artist / blogger, and I have to say, I'm pretty proud of what I've been able to accomplish so far in my short 25 years! But more on all of that for my actual birthday post ... this one is all about my birthday wishlist!
I don't know why coming up with things I want for my birthday is always so hard, but my brain goes totally blank anytime someone asks me what I want! It's hard not to automatically think of random things that I want for the house, or stuff I want for Emmy, so I thought I'd spend a little time really finding items that I would love just for me. So, here we go!

Maple & J Mom & Me Bracelets
I've had my eye on these bracelets forever! I tend to collect a bunch of low quality jewelry that ends up changing colors (or changing my skin different colors 😅), and I wear the same sets over and over again until they just look so rough that I have to throw them out. That's where my inevitable Maple & J obsession is about to come in. The point of these bracelets is to never take them off ... they're handmade to be passed down as heirlooms, and did I mention that Em and I can having matching bracelets!? MY HEART. 😍 The ones on my list are the The MJ: Silver bangles.
Free People Dress
Y'all. This dress! 🙌 I found it online a few weeks ago, and I immediately had to have it in my life. Then I saw the price tag because ... Free People. 😂 I sent it over to my mom, who was just as obsessed with it as I am, and that just drilled it into my head even more that I needed it. It's flowy, a wrap dress (so it's bound to be flattering), and it's perfect for nursing which is obviously the first thing I have to look for when buying clothes these days! The mint color is by far my favorite, and I've officially named it my perfect birthday dress. Be prepared to see me wearing it literally all spring and summer long!
Art Journaling Bible
Ok, how stunning are these bibles? I was walking through Altar'd State the other day, and completely fell in love. They're art journaling bibles so they have space on each page to journal, draw, or paint, and I'm obsessed. 🙌One of the intentions I set for the new year was to really get into the Word more, because if I'm being honest, I can count on one hand the amount of times I opened my bible last year. I think that combining my creative spirit with reading my bible is the way to go to get my head and heart back into getting excited about diving into the word everyday! My personal favorite is the one that has "Be Still My Soul" lettered on the cover, but they're seriously all beautiful. 💗
Carrie Elizabeth Rings
Ok, these are stunning. This part of my wishlist goes along the same lines as the Maple & J bangles ... I have a ton of rings, but they all eventually end up turning my fingers green. 😅I want to start a collection of really beautiful pieces of jewelry that I can wear every single day, and these rings need to make their way into that collection, ASAP! 🙌 I'm not asking for a specific piece because I love them all equally ... the colors and shapes are all so perfect!
Deck & Oar Tees
A cozy tee with a message that pulls at my heartstrings? Yeah, these had to make it on the list! Being a mom is the one thing in this world that I've always known I was meant to do, and it's been the most incredible role of my entire life. I mean, that striped "called to mother" tee? Whew! It's literally perfect. 🙌 I have a feeling that I'll be living in these!
The Bouqs Co. Flower Subscription
This one had to make it on the list because ... flowers! 😍🌿Y'all know I'm all about that #fakeplantlife, but I'm a firm believer that you can't replace the look and good vibes that fresh flowers bring. The Bouqs Co. is my go-to place to order flowers for the ladies in my life, and their subscription service sends YOU a bouquet once a month. 🙌 It's a little pricey so I'm definitely capitalizing on the wish part of this birthday wishlist, but a girl can dream, right!?
