Shop Local Gift Guide + A Giveaway!
Ever since I started my shop on Etsy and have jumped back into the photography game, my passion for shopping local and small has only grown. I'm sitting here hoping that people share this passion of mine and shop with me, so why not return the favor? Here are four of my favorite Louisville based shops and businesses just in time for last minute Christmas shopping!
P.S. In case you were wondering where the whole giveaway aspect comes into play, head over to this post on Lou What Wear for your chance to win the print of your choice from my shop + two more prizes from fellow Louisville designers Teddi Naegele and Johanna Ehnle! Happy shopping!
1. TimeAndTurquoise on Etsy // I know that you've seen this name around the blog for a while now typically paired the fashion blog by Amanda, but this accountant turned creative also runs her own Etsy shop! You can find anything from hand lettered rustic wood slices to seasonal burlap banners.
2. Revelry Boutique & Gallery // Not only is the owner, Mo McKnight, an absolute sweetheart, this is the first storefront to carry designs from my print shop! I can't help but pick up a new little something every time I'm in there. They feature Louisville artists and makers and your guaranteed to find something for everyone on your list in one quick stop! Well, maybe not quick because you'll get totally distracted by all of the goodness in there, but you know what I mean. :)
3. Hey Tiger // This little shop was one of my first favorites when I was old enough to start wandering Bardstown Rd by myself. I have always been drawn to the eclectic array of items that Hey Tiger offers. From handmade paper goods to vintage jewelry, it's definitely worth your time to stop by.
4. ThistleThreadDesign on Etsy // I recently stumbled upon this shop when I was looking through Etsy's "Shop Local" feature and immediately envied Jordan's embroidering skills! Once upon a time I bought a few hoops, thread and canvas from Michaels to give it a go myself and guess what? It's all still sitting in the bag down in my office. Jordan has an eclectic collection of handmade goods from pillows to hand stitched plush toys for the little ones in your life.
