Happy almost Thanksgiving! This weekend was an eventful one on my side of the world. That is if you consider birthday festivities, photo shoots, inappropriate card games, cider with wine and binge watching Gilmore Girls eventful. If you follow me on Instagram (and hopefully you do!) then you know that on top of all of these wonderful things, my weekend also consisted of a little bit of Christmas shopping + decorating.
I'm typically the first one to complain about the early Christmas music and holiday decor displayed before Thanksgiving has even passed, but this year things are different. It's already 30 degrees outside, snow is falling from the sky as I speak and Target had all of their holiday decor on sale for 20% off. What's a girl to do?
So, to try and kick some sense into this brain of mine I've decided to make a list of things that I'm thankful for before it's too late. Oh, and I thought that I should probably give you something for my lack of attention in this space last week. 1. I am so beyond thankful, and immensely blessed, by all of the opportunities that God has presented me with this year in my creative businesses. It's more apparent now than ever that this path that I have my heart set on following is the one He has strategically placed me on.
2. Reuniting and spending more time than ever before with old friends and both mine and Sean's families. If we're not with one during the weekend then we're with the other!
3. Speaking of Sean, I am without words on how thankful I am for this sweet man of mine. The fact that God has trusted me to be his partner and best friend is more than I could ever ask for.
4. This amazing space. This blog has given me a place to share my heart, meet new friends from across the country and to help me stay focused when I get overwhelmed. Purchasing this domain and creating my own corner of the internet was one of the best decisions I could have ever made.
